For as long as I have known Sarah, she has rocked some pretty extensive hair color. Not just chestnut, or amber. I’m talking purple and green. She was cool before it was cool. But this blog post isn’t about how cool Sarah it (although that would make a fabulous post!). This blog is about HAIR COLOR!
This is KaSandra. We told some normal Slumber Party pics of her. And they were all adorable, because she is adorable. I was editing them in the normal way, loving them as I was editing. And then I found a fun little Photoshop extension that changed hair color and I thought I needed to try it out. It works the best on light colored hair, so I NEEDED to try it out on KaSandra.
This this edit was born. And I really love it! It’s fun to step outside your comfort zone for a minute, and it is especially easy when there is no commitment involved. I bet girls would LOVE to try different hair colors with NO EFFECT on their hair. Coloring your hair is sometimes damaging, but this mitigates the damage! You get to see what you would look like with a different shade on your head and FEEL like you have a cool photograph! I LOVE IT!
But I didn’t just stop at one color. I tried to replicate Sarah’s intricate hair colors – she never does one color, and rarely does 2 colors. Most of the time she is rockin’ 3 to 4 colors at a time. So I tried to add pink on top, and ombre it to purple toward the bottom. What do you think?
And this one is probably my favorite because it has a little tint of grey mixed in with the purple. I would love to wear this mixture of color. Anyone want a session to be able to play with hair color?!?! It would be fun to get some amazing shots, but then change up them up with lots of different hair colors!
I’m off to try out the green hair color now!
